Mythical figures make a guest appearance in Lübeck

Fairytale stories, grotesque faces and unusual costume materials such as netting and fringes make these puppets scary and vivid. Art teacher Benno Petersen and journeyman painter and puppeteer Karl Pechascheck performed together in their local dialect, Low German, in the Lübeck region.
