Through Many Different Hands

Often, different puppet makers work together. These hand puppets were carved by Jürgen Maaßen, and the costumes were made by Benita Steinmann. The puppets' fine design makes them come to life even in the smallest of movements by the puppeteer. With their elaborate costume tailoring and delicate hands, the puppets become small works of art.
