In open puppetry, there is no longer a stage set that limits the puppets’ movements.
Now, almost anything can be a stage. This leaves space to design the stage, puppets and stories to suit each piece.
When puppeteer and puppet appear on stage together and become one in the performance, the marionettes take on a life and character of their own.
The audience become partners in the performance. Because the real spectacle takes place in the imagination.
Shall we open ourselves to this?
